June 2011: Vlad graduated with a MA - Soloist from the HEMU. For his achievements he was also awarded the Max D. Jost Award and OSUL Award.
Vlad was selected to take part in the 2011Verbier Festival Academy.

Dec 2010: CD release The Mercury Quartet - Mercury Acoustic, Nonclassical Records, distributed by Select and Naxos in the UK, USA, Japan, Germany and Holland.
Following the success of Microkosmos at the 2009 LSO Discovery Panufnik Young Composer Scheme, The London Symphony Orchestra commissioned Vlad to compose a 10 minutes new work to be performed in a Barbican main stage concert in 2011.
Starting 2010, Vlad Maistorovici will be performing on an 1852 Rafaele ed Antonio Gagliano, kindly loaned to him by Mr. Hans van Swaay.
Starting September 2009, Vlad will be studying violin with Pierre Amoyal at the Conservatoire de Lausanne, on a MA - Soloist course. He will continue his composition studies with Mark Anthony Turnage on a PgDip in Composition course at the Royal College of Music London.
Duo Maistorovici-Bonuccelli was invited to take part in the 2009 Lausanne Academy where they will be exploring duo repertoire under the guidance of Pierre Amoyal and Bruno Canino.
Following the success of Hypnosis at the 2009 LPO "7 Minute Soundings" Young Composer Scheme, The London Philharmonic Orchestra commissioned Vlad to compose a fanfare for orchestra to be performed 4 times at the Royal Festival Hall as part of the Bight Sparks School Concert Series 2010.
Feb 2009: Vlad won the 2009 Tillett Trust Young Artist Auditions.
Feb 2009: Vlad was awarded the Clive Christian Sound of Perfume "X" Prizefor Transscent for solo piano.

Nov 2008: The Mercury Quartet won the Nonclassical Battle of the Bands. The prize includes a recording contract with Nonclassical.
